Position: AGM/DGM – Contracts Management
Education: Degree in Engineering (Civil or Equivalent) (Mandatory) + PG in Contract Management and Quantity Survey / PGD ACM (or) / PGP CM from NICMAR / MBA from RICS SBE (Preferred).
Location: Head Office, Ahmedabad
Job Description:
- Managing a team of around 10.
- Handling contractual matters and managing contractual correspondence.
- Discussion with the project Head and Site Team for contractual draft preparation.
- Monitoring of claim-related matters, timely claim intimation, assisting HOD-Contracts to finalize the claim, and submission of claims along with supporting documents.
- Ensure timely proceedings in Arbitration, Tribunals, and DRB matters.
- Assist HOD-Contracts in the timely finalization of the Statement of Claims, Statement of Defense, Rejoinder, etc. during Arbitral proceedings.
- Ensuring proper submission of Hindrance Register and other delay events.
- Identifying extra items, Change of Scope, delay events, and generating records for the same.
- Reviewing and finalizing Pre-tender Contractual risk analysis and Joint venture Agreement.
- Finalization of MoU, Joint venture Agreement, Sub-contract Agreement, and assisting HOD -Contracts for finalization.
- Administering all subcontract matters and managing correspondence for the same, Resolving all the Sub-contractor of Claims/issues, etc.
- Review of contract program schedule prior to submission & identify schedule conflict and necessary improvement.
- Ensure adherence to the department/Company’s SOP.
- Timely Monitoring of MIS/Reports and take necessary action.
- Regular checking, analyzing correspondence uploaded in the DMS and preparing a weekly status report.
- Verify all bidding documents to identify the risks and unfavorable clause before bid submission.
- Contract Closure.
