JGC, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company, is conducting a walk-in drive for various positions in Chennai. They are seeking experienced professionals to join their team in different roles related to civil engineering, structural engineering, piping engineering, process engineering, and project engineering.

JGC Walk-In Drive 2024

Positions Available:

1. Civil Concrete Engineer
2. Civil Concrete Designer
3. Structural Engineer
4. Structural Steel Designer
5. Building Structural Engineer
6. Piping Material Engineer
7. Valve Engineers
8. Process Engineer
9. Project Engineer

1. Building Structural Engineer:
   • Experience: 12 to 15 years
   • Expertise: Design of plant building foundation and superstructure (concrete & steel) in international EPC projects, including procurement support, BIM, interdisciplinary coordination, and supervision of 3rd party engineering.
2. Process Engineer:
   • Experience: 10 to 15 years
   • Expertise: Preparing and reviewing process engineering documents such as PFD, P&ID, data sheets, etc., with technical proficiency in mass and heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and system design.
3. Civil Concrete Engineer:
   • Experience: 8 to 12 years
   • Expertise: Design engineering in all facets of concrete design, with a minimum of 6 years in design.
4. Structural Engineer:
   • Experience: 8 to 12 years
   • Expertise: Design of onshore & offshore structures, with over 6 years in design and Area Lead capability.
5. Civil Concrete Designer:
   • Experience: 8 to 12 years
   • Expertise: 3D modeling of foundations, racks, process structures, underground structures, and retaining walls, with more than 5 years of experience.
6. Structural Steel Designer:
   • Experience: 6 to 10 years
   • Expertise: 3D modeling of racks, process structures, shelters, etc., with over 4 years of experience.
7. Piping Material Engineer:
   • Experience: 5 to 15 years
   • Expertise: Piping material specification creation, codes & standards, calculations, purchase requisition & technical specification, technical bid evaluation, vendor document review, and project leadership experience.
8. Valve Engineers:
   • Experience: 5 to 10 years
   • Expertise: Knowledge of all valves (Gate, Globe, Ball, Butterfly, Plug) in terms of design and testing, with a background in piping materials as an added advantage.
9. Project Engineer:
   • Experience: 3 to 12 years
   • Expertise: EPC project engineering for various plant projects (gas processing, LNG, petroleum refining, petrochemical, chemical, nuclear power, etc.).
