Positions:
1. Mechanical Maintenance (0424MEM)
- Functional knowledge & hands-on experience of machine shop, equipment, EOT cranes, hydraulic press & furnaces. Ability to study assembly drawings & hydraulic circuits.
- Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Dip-Mechanical
- Experience: 7 to 16 years
2. Supply Chain Management (04245CM)
- Responsible for procurement of metallic items, scrap, DRI, pig iron, coal items, lime items, micro alloys, ferro alloys, ingots, molds, graphite electrodes, and other SMS consumables.
- Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Dip-Mechanical/Metallurgy
- Experience: 7 to 15 years
3. Steel Melting Shop (0424SMS)
- Sound experience in arc furnace (EAF/LF) operations in carbon & alloy steel plants. Knowledge about furnace refractory repair in hot & cold conditions.
- Qualification: Dip-Metallurgy
- Experience: 7 to 9 years
4. Electrical Maintenance (0424EMA)
- Knowledge and experience in electrical distribution systems, operation & maintenance of electrical substations with equipment like transformers, switchgears.
- Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Dip-Electrical
- Experience: 9 to 10 years
5. Metallurgy (0424ME)
- Thorough knowledge of steelmaking, forging, heat treatment, and testing lab. Technical expertise in ferrous & non-ferrous metallurgy, destructive & non-destructive testing.
- Qualification: BE/B.Tech-Mechanical/Metallurgy
- Experience: 13 to 17 years
6. NDT(0424MS)
- Qualified in ASNT Level-III in UT, MT, VT, PT. Good knowledge of defects in steel manufacture, ASME/DIN/International & National Codes/specifications.
- Qualification: BE/B Tech-Mechanical/Metallurgy
- Experience: 13 to 17 years
7. Utility (0424MS)
- Experience in operation & maintenance of utility equipment such as compressors, boilers, water treatment plants, cooling towers, chillers, air conditioners, utility media distribution network.
- Qualification: Dip-Mechanical
- Experience: 5 to 8 years
8. Press Operation (0424PO)
- Hands-on experience of operating hydraulic presses of capacity 2000T or more, understanding of open die forging operations, and knowledge of dies and tools used.
- Qualification: Dip-Mechanical
- Experience: 4 to 8 years
9. Digital & Automation (0424DA)
- Hands-on experience in Level-1 automation systems like PLC (Siemens, ABB, AB, OMRO) and computer-based HMI systems. Understanding of various OPC Servers for data connectivity.
- Qualification: Dip/BE-Digital/Automation/IT/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation & Control
- Experience: 12 to 15 years
Essentials
- Candidates should be throughout first class with no ATKTs.
- Candidates should have experience in Forging & Steel making industries.
