Tata Steel Meramandali, Dhenkanal, Odisha is inviting applications from eligible candidates for a One-Year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and its amendments.
Eligibility Criteria:
Diploma Holders in:
- Metallurgy
- Mechanical
- Instrumentation
- Electrical
- Chemical
ITI Holders in:
- Fitter
- Machinist
Qualification Status:
- Diploma: Pass-out year should be 2020 or later
- ITI: Pass-out year should be 2018 or later
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be born between 01 April 2000 and 01 April 2007 (both dates inclusive)
Other Conditions:
- Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere are not eligible
- Candidates must be residents of Odisha
Documents Required for Stipend Processing:
- Aadhaar-seeded Bank Account
- PAN Card (linked with Aadhaar)
Important Notes:
- Duration of training: 1 year
- Training will be on-the-job at Tata Steel Meramandali plant
- No hostel facility provided – candidates must arrange their own accommodation
- Stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Act guidelines
- Apprenticeship Completion Certificate will be awarded after successful completion
- Candidates must register on the NAPS/NATS Apprenticeship Portal
Selection Process:
- Written Test
- Document Scrutiny
- Medical Test
- Written Test will be held from 28th April to 03rd May 2025 at designated centres via online platform
- Candidates must bring their own mobile/tablet/laptop with stable internet
