Position: Head of Projects
The Head of Projects position in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) business is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects within the organization. The primary objective is to ensure successful project execution and delivery, while adhering to budget, timeline, and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects simultaneously.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of project managers and other project personnel. Provide guidance, support and mentorship to ensure the team’s success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Regularly review project progress and performance and take necessary corrective actions to address any issues or deviations from the plan.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Implement and enforce quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Financial Management: Monitor project budgets and financial performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project costs without compromising quality or safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in engineering
- PMP certification is highly desirable and demonstrates a strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- A minimum of 20-25 years of experience in project management, preferably in the EPC industry, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as a good understanding of industry-specific software and technologies.
Age Limit: 50-55 years
