MKC Infrastructure Ltd Careers

Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Planning & Billing (Road Infrastructure)

  • Location: Assam
  • Department: Billing & Planning
  • Reports to: Project Manager / Construction Manager

Cost Estimation & Billing:

  • Prepare cost estimates and Engineering Services Requirements (ESR) for road projects.
  • Generate and submit client billing as per BOQ and project milestones.
  • Verify and certify vendor and contractor invoices.
  • Analyze contractor/vendor variation claims and ensure timely resolution.

Project Coordination & Planning:

  • Coordinate project progress tracking, billing, and estimation.
  • Prepare and manage project documents like BOQ, BOM, and cost sheets.
  • Compile monthly project analysis (Budgeted vs. Achieved).
  • Monitor physical and financial progress monthly.
  • Maintain R.A. billing status on a monthly basis.

Contract Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with contracts on-site.
  • Manage subcontractor billing and ensure process accuracy.
  • Adhere to company protocols and quality standards.

Reconciliation & Reporting:

  • Prepare material reconciliation reports weekly and monthly.
  • Track cycle times and project performance daily and monthly.
  • Develop regular project progress reports.

Tools & Software Utilization:

  • Proficient in MS Project or Primavera for planning/scheduling.
  • SAP knowledge is mandatory for project financials and procurement.

Site Measurement & Data Collection:

  • Work closely with site engineers for accurate billing measurements.
  • Maintain documentation of on-site progress for billing purposes.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in billing and planning for road infrastructure.
  • Expertise in BOQ/BOM, estimation, billing, and planning.
  • Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera is essential.
  • Mandatory: SAP knowledge.
