Available Positions
1. Assistant Engineer

- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, or Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy
- Relevant Experience: Experience in BF/SP Laboratory, chemical analysis or metallurgical laboratory, preferably in an integrated steel plant
- Computer Knowledge: Essential
- Responsibilities: Monitor daily laboratory operations and report results
- Maintenance: Plan daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Sample Testing: Sample collection and preparation as per international standard methods
- NABL: Knowledge of NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) and preparation, development and updating of ISO documents
- Calibration: Plan and arrange calibration of laboratory instruments
- Chemical Analysis: Raw materials including iron ore, limestone, coke and fluxes, along with sinter products
- Blast Furnace Materials: Coke, sinter, slag and hot metal
- Testing Techniques: Wet chemical analysis, XRF, ICP, OES, C&S combustion analysis, GC, Orsat and microscopy
- Quality Control: Monitor chemical, physical and metallurgical specifications
- Additional Responsibilities: Investigate quality discrepancies, maintain test records and ensure safety and environmental compliance
- Skills: Chemical processes involved in sintering and blast furnace operations, laboratory techniques, quality control and assurance, analytical and problem-solving skills
2. Associate Manager

- Responsibilities: Mechanical maintenance of blast furnace equipment, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Maintenance: Lead mechanical maintenance activities and develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
- Coordination: Work with engineering, operations and safety teams
- Resource Management: Manage manpower, tools and materials
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
- Safety: Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations
- Reporting: Prepare maintenance activity and equipment performance reports
- Team Development: Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians
- Procurement: Coordinate for critical spares and mechanical components
- Technical Knowledge: BF proper, BLT, Stove, GCP, SGP etc.
