1. Planning & Billing Engineer

  • Department: EQA (Planning & Billing)
  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Master’s Degree or MBA (Preferred)
  • Experience: 8–10 Years

    • Power Projects
    • International Power Projects
  • Required Knowledge:
    • Project Planning & Scheduling
    • Billing & Cost Control

    • International Contracting Practices

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project.
  • Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), project milestones, and baseline schedules.
  • Develop resource-loaded schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Monitor critical path activities and schedule performance.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and recovery planning.
  • Prepare project review presentations.

Progress Monitoring

  • Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning progress.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Generate S-Curves, project dashboards, productivity reports, and Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
  • Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions.

Billing & Commercial Management

  • Prepare client invoices based on contractual milestones.
  • Verify subcontractor measurements and payment certifications.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for invoicing and collections.
  • Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) Bills.
  • Validate quantities and executed work before billing.

Contract Administration Support

  • Review EPC contracts, subcontracts, and client requirements.
  • Ensure billing complies with contract conditions.
  • Support variation orders, change orders, and claims management.
  • Maintain commercial documentation and records.
  • Coordinate Extension of Time (EOT) documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • Master’s Degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in Power Projects.
  • Hands-on experience in International Power Projects is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC, EPC Contracts, Planning, Billing, Cost Control, and Commercial Documentation.
